Shenzhen, China – March 9, 2026 – Today, In preparation for the upcoming 200-day certificate compliance deadline on March 15th, ZoTrus Technology's customized intermediate root CAs—Shanghai CA, SSL.com, and Sectigo—will cease issuing one-year certificates and begin issuing six-month SSL certificates starting March 10th. ZoTrus Cloud SSL Service System and related automatic certificate services will also be upgraded simultaneously, and from March 10th, will only issue six-month valid SM2 SSL certificates. Intranet SSL certificates will not be affected and can still be issued with validity periods of 1-5 years.
SSL certificates will continue to have their validity period shortened to 47 days, making automatic certificate management (ACME) a necessity!
